Drawing and handwriting are often used. How do I quickly switch back from a handwritten state to a text entry state? Does it has a shortcut?

The keyboard shortcut to switch back to text input state from drawing handwriting state is: ESC
 
Lasso Select, Panning Hand, Eraser and all color pen mode, they can all be returned to the type text mode by pressing the ESC key.
