Mac OneNote Open Notebook: Couldn't open that location
In the list of notebooks in the main menu of Mac OneNote "File" menu -> "Open Notebook", when you click to open a notebook, the following appears:We couldn't open that location. It might not exist or you might not have permission to open it.
Please contact the owner of notebook for more information.
This is the OneNote notebook that has been deleted, but is still listed in the notebook list.
It's been a long time, and you don't know which notebook has been deleted.
The "Notebook" Menu Item of the Gem Menu for Mac OneNote
We can use the Gem Menu for Mac OneNote's "Notebook" menu item to identify which notebooks have indeed been deleted.In the Gem Menu, click on the "Gem" menu -> "Notebook" menu item.
The Deleted notebooks
In the list of OneNote notebooks that pop up:
The notebooks with red icons have been deleted.
When you right-click on the notebook, a right-click menu will pop up, and you can click the "Open Notebook" menu item.
This message will indicate that the notebook has been deleted.
