How to setup the Quick Notes section of OneNote?

Pressing the shortcut Windows + Alt + N can be very convenient for creating quick note. New Quick Notes are placed in the Quick Notes section of OneNote.

The Quick Notes section of Windows Office OneNote can be placed in:

Quick Notes of Notebook in OneDrive.com
It can also be in the Quick Notes section of a local notebook.
It can also be in a .one file somewhere on the hard drive (not in any notebook)
